Description

This auction is for a rare factory sealed copy of The Weatherfords - "Let's Just Praise The Lord". The Weatherfords, (AKA - The Weatherford Quartet) were formed in California in 1944 and had a close association with noted evangelist Rex Humbard. With their sweet, smooth harmony, The Weatherfords set one of the highest standards in the history of Gospel quartet music. They also served as a training ground for individuals who went on to make history as members of other groups such as The Cathedral Quartet and The Imperials. In addition, Lily Fern Weatherford pioneered as a female in what had earlier been an all-male enterprise. The group still exists today but as a trio.

This album is on the "Chime Records" label.

The cover has a corner cut off.
