Description
I have one of the largest collections of The Wedding Present memorabilia in Canada (i figure) and with a heavy heart i am selling it off, the records are just sitting in a box and i could use the money for other pursuits.
They were and still are one of my favourite bands but some of the memories associated with the songs are personally painful and it almost seems like it's time to move on.
This is a small treasure i hope you all know.
I'm making it easy for the serious collector here, you see, i've put up for bid the very first record put out by The Wedding Present, "Go Out And Get Em Boy!, published by Cubic Music, of which only 500 were pressed.
This in itself is an extremely rare record, there are stories of DLG bringing them all home from the pressing plant in a big old suitcase.
Truly a must have for the TWP collector.
As an incredible "bonus", i've also included the (almost as) rare re-release on City Slang records, with foldout cover.

The records and sleeves are both in pretty darned good condition for their age and come in mylar sleeves.
As well, the original release is signed (at a much later date) by DLG on the back cover for good luck.
