Description
Another item from my personal collection of 90s vinyl. This is Watusi by The Wedding Present. Media has been play-graded. Very mild warping (little hops for the cartridge, not "bucking bronco") spotted upon spinning the record on the turntable, but it still plays back at a solid VG plus or a weak M minus, depending upon how strict you are. 1994 original pressing on standard black vinyl, signed, presumably by the band. A search of eBay reveals another signed copy sold several months ago and the signatures appear to match so, while I cannot authenticate that they are band member autographs, it seems likely. This copy was originally serviced to college radio, but does not have any promotional markings. Catalog number near bar code is Island ILPS 8014/524 044-1 PY 281 LC 0407. Jacket shows signs of wear and scuffing on front. There are small creases and wrinkles at various spots around the edges and the corners have some dents and wear. The back of the jacket has some small patches of glue or something stuck to it (see third picture). The insert has some ring wear and one creased corner but is otherwise in very nice shape. It has no tears or splitting. Record has been stored in a pet-free and smoke-free home. It will be shipped outside of the jacket in a 3 mil poly sleeve.
