Description

Here we have an absolutely mint copy of the LP from Vault Package 1 from Third Man Records - 'The White Stripes 'Icky Thump' in MONO (TMR-002)
This was a very limited release, as it was never put on sale to the general public. Only those with a platinum subscription to the Third Man Vault could get their hands on this. And being the first package, there weren't anywhere near as many Vault subscribers back then as there are now, so this LP is even more limited than later releases.
The LP is still sealed with the Icky Thump gatefold sticker, as seen in the pictures. The heavyweight gatefold sleeve has never been opened, and the vinyls are untouched. The spine is in wonderful condition, as are the opening to the sleeve. There is a small ding on the top left corner of the sleeve, as seen in the pictures. Every copy of this LP I have ever seen has had a ding - the packaging of vault packages up until recently wasn't very good, and the LP's often suffered tiny bits of damage as a result. This corner ding is very minor.
I have cherished this record. I have never played it, and it has been stored in a thick gauge PVC sleeve.  The sleeves and vinyl are all in mint, unplayed and unmarked condition. My home is also smoke and pet free, so you have no worries there.
You'd be mad not to bid on this. It is becoming increasingly rare, especially in the UK. This is a must for any record collector, but especially a White Stripes, Jack White or Third Man fan. The White Stripes' rare back catalogue items are going up and up in price since their split, so get your hands on this while you can. This would be a great buy for any music lover or record collector!
I will send the LP 1st class recorded delivery in a proper sturdy record mailer with cardboard stiffener inserts. International bidders - please get in touch with me for a postage quote. Also, if you do win the auction, I will require payment within 3 days of the auction ending.
If you have any questions, or need any more pictures, don't be afraid to get in touch.
Thanks a lot for looking at this wonderful LP. Check my other items for other rare TMR items (including The Dead Weather 'Forever My Queen', and A Glorious Dawn on COSMOS, among others!) Don't miss out! Good luck, and happy bidding!
