 THE WHO - 'DIRECT HITS'

This was The Who's first UK compilation album and collects singles, b-sides & album tracks recorded for Reaction/Track Records between 1966-8.

Issued in mono and stereo, it was not a big seller and was soon deleted and superseded by 'Meaty, Beaty Big & Bouncy'.


This NEAR MINT 1st stereo pressing dates from initial October 1968 release on Track: 613 006

Matrix numbers: 613006 A-1 & 613006 B-1

Vinyl weight: 130g


Housed within a front laminated 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover, complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: NEAR MINT

Flawless deep-gloss playing surfaces with just 2 spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole only. Perfect audio throughout.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A superb example with an unscratched front panel laminate bearing just two 'thumbnail' wrinkles. There is a touch of storage to the rear panel but overall this would be a tough cover to upgrade.
