UK Brunswick LAT 8616, Mono. 1965. The LP that started it all and a must for any fan of Classic Rock. This LP has been in my collection for 32 years and carefully stored with a Japanese Mylar outer sleeve and a VRP Rice style inner sleeve. Matrix Numbers Matrix MG-10256-B2 / MG-20567-B2 which confirms this is a very early pressing. Originally released in December of 1965, this LP features the original inner sleeve with a date code of October 1966 confirming it as an early pressing. Vinyl looks Mint, and never played by myself. You will have to look closely to see a few label spindle marks. Sleeve is laminated front wrapping around the back side edges about 1/2 inch. Sleeve is a solid VG++ overall, with the front very close to M-. The rear has yellowing around the edges and is the biggest issue in terms of the grading of the cover. Tiny bit of light creasing in a couple of corners. No seam splits, tears, labels or writing on the sleeve. All text along the spine is 100% legible. Exceptionally clean for this 50 year old pressing.
