Description

The Who LP Who Did It! / Rarest Who Album / Withdrawn Track Mail Order Vinyl

This LP was a mail order only issue from 1970 that was withdrawn soon after release.

Track Record – catalogue number 2856001, released Feb 1970.

Selling this for a friends father who got in mail order when it came out, its been stored carefully ever since.

This copy I would say is in very very good condition if not excellent. There's the odd crease on the front sleeve on the laminate coating and some very slight faint edge wear on the open side on the front sleeve but considering age that is expected some what. There's no tears, no actual sleeve creases of note and no writing on the sleeve. The vinyl again is in great condition, its been stored well and the vinyl has no notable scratches, it has a lovely shine to it and come with original inner bag with the nice protecting lining. I think you would find it very hard to locate a much better copy these days.

Release compiles side one of 'A Quick One' and side one of 'The Who Sell Out'. The mono tracks from 'A Quick One' have been simulated into stereo.

Considered to be one of the rarest Who records in the world. In 1970 this was released in the UK on Track Records and only made available to Track Records fan club members in the UK . About a day after the release it was withdrawn!! Its alleged only 400 copies of this made it out in early 1970 and the rest were ordered to be destroyed.

Extremely hard to fine in any kind of condition, as you can imagine the ones like this in very good/excellent condition are going to get harder and harder to come by as time goes on.

Payment is by Paypal only / This will be sent speacial delivery only due to its high value. It will be packed very well with multiple layers of protective cardboard.

Postage costs : UK £9.50 / Europe £20 / USA £26 / Japan & Australia £27. All vinyl is posted out in thick cardboard mailers with extra stiffners.
