Description

The Who - My Generation LP
Original, First Pressing LAT8616 on Brunswick 1965
Sleeve is Excellent, no rips or tears, no writing on sleeve. Glue/cellophane seal on bottom edge has come unstuck, but has not torn or frayed sleeve at all. Light marks to rear sleeve, very good for age.
Played tonight (20.6.2011) on a Project Turntable & Pioneer Amp Side 1:
1. Out In The Street - plays great, no pops skips etc 2. I Don't Mind - plays great as above 3. The Good's Gone - plays great as above 4. La-La-La-La-Lies - plays great as above 5. Much Too Much - plays great as above 6. My Generation - plays great as above
Side 2:
1. The Kids Are Alright - slight skip in the middle eight, couple of pops near the end, otherwise fine 2. Please Please Please - plays great 3. It's Not True - plays great 4. I'm A Man - plays great, apart from a slight skip at start of the  breakdown 5. A Legal Matter - plays great 6. The Ox - plays great
The record on the whole plays really nicely, side 1 is near perfect. The skips on side two are as noted, and minor. With each one, you lose maybe half a line of lyrics/music, and might be rectified by a clean of the record. I have owned this for over 15 years, played it 4 or 5 times only, always kept in a plastic slip-cover, and stored upright, away from damp, heat and daylight.  I am only selling it because I have too much vinyl, and am only keeping the records I play regularly.
