Media (Play Tested): EX. The vinyl has retained its glossy sheen and sits completely flat with no warping. Sounds absolutely stunning. Has a few very light surface marks under bright lights on all sides, that do not affect the sound. This sounds and looks great. Clean spindle holes with very few visible trails. The labels are really nice. In addition to the ▽ matrix numbers, “S2-MCA 362" is etched in the run-out of Side B on Record 1 which is only present on true first pressings. Stunning.

Sleeve: VG+ Clean cover with no writing or staining/foxing. Has a lovely wide spine. Some age discolouration and storage wear. Very little ring wear which is rare for this sleeve. Is the limited, first print, Euro Albums Holland B.V. sleeve. The 42-page picture booklet is in great condition and still attached. A lovely sleeve.

Inner Sleeve: VG+. Original inner sleeves have age related discolouration and light creasing but no splits or tears. Come with brand new anti-static sleeves.

On offer here is a superb barely-played copy of The Who's rock opera studio double alblum titled "Quadrophenia", Catalogue Number Deluxe Double 2657 013. It's a 1973 UK stereo first pressing on the Track Record Label, with a first issue Euro Albums Holland B.V. wide-spine gatefold sleeve with 42-page picture booklet. [The wide-spine gatefold sleeve is made from soft card and is not laminated. The Track record labels have a matt black finish unlike subsequent re-issues which are glossy. The record matrix numbers are the earliest 2406110 Av1, Bv1, A ▽ 1 and Bv2 (where v = delta symbol). Additionally "S2-MCA 362" is etched in the run-out of Side B on Record 1 which is only present on true first pressings].

The gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition (strictly graded) with just light storage wear and a few minor creases to the right side opening bottom edge/corner. The front cover has a small rub mark in the top left corner but is otherwise in great shape. The back cover is unmarked with virtually no ringwear which is very unusual for this particular sleeve. The spine is solid with all text legible. The heavy 42-page picture booklet has been re-affixed after becoming detached from the outer pages (as they all do) but is otherwise complete and undamaged. Overall it's a very well preserved example of this notoriously fragile sleeve. Please study the supersize photos carefully as they form an important part of the item description.

The solidly-pressed Track records retain their original lustre and rotate evenly on the turntable. Both records are in EX+ condition with just a few faint sleeve-removal type surface marks evident under bright light. These are only superficial and do not have any effect on the audio playback. The matt black Track labels show only a few faint spindle traces each side. There is virtually no wear around either of the spindle holes. Both records play excellently throughout with
