Description

An original 1st mono press of SELL OUT on the UK Track label. Matrix A2/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original poly-lined Decca inner sleeve from the time.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light mark per side, and one tiny mark which just sounds [details below]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. By and large a beautiful player. If you need a really nice clean rendition then do give this copy serious consideration....they don't all sound clean and clear like this example. Interference is both minor and infrequent. Expect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments - but nothing noticeable or persistent. The one deviation is in 'Odorono'. There's a small mark which causes seven ticks midway through. They're not all that noticeable and will not stand out. For the remainder of the LP expect a great rendition which does this WHO classic maximum justice.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wow, ok so these covers do not usually surface looking quite this sweet. The first to mention is the complete absence of the ageing process. This cover is true white and I mean WHITE! It also lies perfectly flat which means it cannot have been used very much and likely been archived for much of it's life. Front and back look superb, but for a couple of thumbnail creases in the area around each opening.  Edge wear is practically non-existent and the openings still sharp. The spine is absolutely 100% immaculate - I have never seen another example like it. Overall the cover retains superb rigidity. Don't think I'll be witnessing a specimen like this for a while!
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. Bit of creasing. No splits though.
