Description

An original 1st press of WN on the UK Track label from 1971. Matrix 1/2. Etching "MG12888". Note 1st pressings are easy to distinguish from later copies with the labels being matt and flat, NOT shiny or ridged. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original MacNeill heavy card cover. Also included is a plastic bag warning inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition despite having seen a light to moderate level of use. Under close inspection there's a few very light bag-rash type marks per side - nothing heavy or sinister. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. By and large a very sweet clean playing record. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Expect nothing more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side in terms of interference. The only deviations are a couple of light ticks in two isolated spots on side 1 and then 1 pop on the opening piano chord as "Getting In Tune" starts. Overall a very sweet payer with precious little to complain at.
Cover (Vg+) Nice clean cover with only relatively minor wear front and back. Light edge wear which is slightly more noticeable on the spine. You can more or less still make out most of the text on the spine. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
