Description

Who's Next 1st Press on the UK Track label from 1971. Matrix A1/B2. Etching 'MG12888'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original MacNeil printed cover marketed by Polydor with the pinched spine. We also have the original Headhunters inner sleeve too.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb shape shiny like new and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a coupe of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. The audio quality is absolutely top-level with perfect reproduction through all frequencies and with bags of detail. Interference is very minimal just a touch of light static in the intro to the first track on side 2. And even this is very minor - this is one superbly preserved record.
Cover (Ex) A difficult one to find in great condition as the black rear nearly always shows some level of wear. But this copy has been looked after particularly carefully. Only the very lightest of handling wear. A slight touch of edge wear and no more. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and that spine is fully intact.
Inner (Ex+) Almost looks new! And that is very unusual...no splits and hardly any ageing at all. Superb!
