Hello, all items are carefully packed.
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers!
All records are sent out in plastic covers for added protection.
THE YARDBIRDS.
ROGER THE ENGINEER.
UK 1966 COLUMBIA MONO ORIGINAL LP.
This is a very clean example, this is normally seen in very worn out condition. My grading below is strict as you will see via the above pictures. This has been in my collection for many years.
The Cover / EX- condition / A nice example with some normal age storage wear only. The front bottom left has a small ripple but this is nothing to worry about. The back of the cover is a full EX and you do not see the back very often as good as this. The front lamination is clean and glossy. This is a Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover.
The Record / VG++ condition. The record has a lovely gloss with only a little light surface wear plus a few light marks under halogen bulb. This disc is more EX than VG and is in better condition than most mono 1st pressing of this great LP. VG++ is a strict honest grade for this rare disc.
The Labels / EX- condition with KT tax code. The labels are clean with just some spindle marks only.
The Inner Cover / VG+ condition.

I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
