Still in the original loose shrink wrap; crisp, snapping bright and spanking clean with no creases, bends, writing soil or other issues. a couple of lightly bumped corners are the only thing to drop this from full Near Mint.

The Legendary Yardbirds "GOLDEN EGGS" contains rare studio recordings by the group between 1964 and 1968. About half of the tracks are scarce A-side and B-side, different mixes, from their GREAT 45's (including two solo songs by singer Keith Relf) - all unreleased tracks on LP at the time. The balance is made up of album tracks, most of which were unreleased in the UK also.

The material, which is largely out of print at the inception of this early '70s release, draws largely on the JIMMY PAGE-era Yardbirds, plus 4 recordings with JEFF BECK, a few  others with Beck and Page together and a couple very early tracks featuring ERIC CLAPTON. Due to its popularity, a sequel, MORE GOLDEN EGGS, was issued to follow (with a lot more BECK.)  **I’m selling that one as well, in a separate listing**. Both albums feature cover artwork by William Stout.

who was a DJ at the Radio Station I co-founded in the 1970's - and who worked for me at my California record store in the '70s and '80s. . Sadly he has now left this mortal coil, bequeathing me his deep Vinyl Mine.
