Here is a GREAT LP!!! It’s the best copy I have of this Yardbirds’ LP. But it must go as I continue to downsize my vinyl collection. This copy is QUITE NICE, for sure!

 

In this auction:

 

·       “LITTLE GAMES” LP by The Yardbirds

·       As you know, The Yardbirds were part of the “British Invasion” of bands that occurred in the mid-1960s. One of the most dynamic bands of that era, ex-band members went on to form Led Zeppelin and Renaissance and flourished in their own solo careers as well. 

·       This is Epic Records LN 24313.

·       This LP was released in 1967.

·       This LP has the Epic Records’ error where STEREO PRESSINGS were sold in MONO (monaural) covers. The vinyl has “XSB” before the master number in the trail-off indicating that the vinyl is STEREO. MONO pressings have “XEM” before the master number.

·       To me, it seems like this Yardbirds LP has been rather obscure when compared to the other LPs from the band that are most common, such as “For Your Love”, “Over Under Sideways Down”, and “Rave Up”.

·       The COVER is GRADED VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. Only light wear at the bottom center of the front cover under the “EPIC” records logo, a little light edge wear on the top and bottom, light corner wear, and some staple holes at the top left corner of the front cover where price tabs were probably originally attached keep me from grading this cover as Near Mint. There are 3 very small corner pushes.   The primarily white reverse has minimal wear and is quite CLEAN & WHITE!!

·       The VINYL is GRADED NEAR MINT with just a few light surface hairlines/scuffs!!

·       The LABELS ARE NICE & CLEAN & YELLOW & BRIGHT!!!

·       It’s a GREAT LP for sure that has become harder to find in decent condition these days, so don’t pass up the chance to add this one to your vinyl collection.
