Description

An original YES ALBUM 1st issue on the Red & Plum Atlantic UK label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover printed by MacNeill. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Red & Plum copies are sought for their audio ability and this copy is certainly no slouch. Interference is practically non-existent. We could make out more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It's a belter¬!! The side 1 label has a name written on it.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Front and back are nice and clean with only very light handling - there's one small nick on the 'E' of 'The'. The interior is in excellent condition too - no faults. Edge wear is relatively light. The text on the spine is still all legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) In very nice condition. Lightest of ageing. No splits. One side mentions 'Yes Album & a name'
