Side 2 matrix:XEX422-1N (The Mother is 12) The Stamper is AD


This version is the first version to be released on the then new Yellow and Black parlophone label it does not have "Recording first published 1963" on the label as the second edition was issued during 1963 and is much rarer than the 3rd and subsequent editions

 The Records Looks VG and play Both sides overall  in VG+ Condition
the copy does have surface marks and scratches which do not effect play however there is a scratch on track one of side one that goes along the groove and is quite difficult to see but does cause the needles to skip 6 times in quick succession just over Georges Guitar solo please note it does not stick in the groove which in my opinion is worse, other wise the entire rest of the album both sides plays extremely well with only the lightest occasional crackle between tracks the record retains a high degree of shine making it more desirable in my opinion



The cover is in Good- condition
Cover is intact but has been very well used (please view photos for full details) has sellotape top and bottom and browning from ancient sellotape marks top and bottom

The labels on both sides are clean and shiny
the labels both sides are in Lovely condition

The Genuine Emitex inner sleeve is in  VG-
fully intact but has had seam splits at some point because the seams have been sellotaped but overall not a bad condition inner sleeve

A word about myself

I am a record collector specializing in 1960’s and 70’s. Rock, psychedelia,Folk Rock, Avante garde, and krautRock.

My Hifi consists of A Linn Axis turntable fitted with a Linn Basik plus tone arm  with an Ortofon 520mk 11 cartridge, I listen to my records through a pair of Rogers LS7’s.

I listen to all the records I sell on this setup, and most records I sell are from my own collection, I wouldn’t sell anything that I wouldn’t be happy to own my self or play on my Hifi, I don’t own or sell crackly or knackered records, I am aware the Audiophile quality stylus are very expensive and no one wants to chip a stylus by playing knackered records.

I Use the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

Please note I will use + and – to denote grades in-between the ones mentioned below.

I grade the cover,labels and record separately

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Any more LP"s purchased are an extra 1.50 pounds each to anywhere. these postage costs apply apart from in the case where the record needs to be insured for the full value
