A mint and unopened edition of Madonna's famous & still controversial book SEX.

The controversy began on 21st October 1992, just before the release of her Erotica album when Madonna's much publicised SEX was released for sale. The book was produced in an original format involving two sheets of aluminium spirally bound, each numbered and sealed in a Mylar sleeve. 

With its graphic depiction of sex and containing erotic text and stunning photography by Steven Meisel, it portrays the sexual fantasies of the exhibitionist pop star in revealing and erotic poses.  Advance reviews of the book were non existent, since no pre-publication copies were released.  With a hefty price tag of $50 and a spiral binding, bookshops and libraries were compelled to decide whether or not to purchase the book based on the storm surrounding it and/or patron requests.  In many places, such requests were extremely large, as tends to be the case with most highly publicised best sellers.  But in the case of SEX more often than not requests for the book were accompanied by an equal number of requests to remove or restrict it.

They usually fetch a high price but will only gain in value.
