Description
Mega Rare 10" LP of Thelonious Monk - Genius of Modern Music (Blue Note BLP-5002 - mono) Original blue and white label edition with Lexington Ave address, deep groove and ear on both sides - NOT a current re-issue. Extremely rare Blue Note session featuring Monk along with Milt Jackson, Art Blakey and other in a undisputed Blue Note classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG- (minus) condition with plenty of marks that will make plenty of noise - not for the audiophile in any way - played through on my set, you will definitely hear a lot of noise on this one. The original cover is in VG/ VG+ condition with general age/ shelf wear, clear tap on the top seam and writing on the back liner. Definitely NOT perfect, but a very rare LP at a very reasonable price.
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to payment fees on mailing payments. I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing to Europe for one LP would be $31.00. One LP to Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia would be $36.00. One LP to Canada would be $27.00. For other countries please write for quote. All rates reflect increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, payment fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials.
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, payment fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
