Description
Up for auction is an ORIGINAL pressing of Thelonious Monk Quartet - Misterioso MONO Blue and Silver Type Deep Groove labels on Riverside.
Vinyl is in NM condition with no scratches and no scuffs. Sound quality is exceptional in MONO. The jacket is in VG+ condition with all seams free from splits and only general & light rubbing due to the age of this item. The artwork on the cover still looks great, and what a great cover this title sports....
The back of the jacket has light aging due to the fact that this is an LP from 1958. See images.
This is an outstanding Thelonious Monk release. If you are a fan of the Riverside release: Live at the Five Spot with Johnny Griffin LP, you will love this as it is actually material from that engagement, and everyone is in exceptional form. Terrific from the first note to the end.....
I highly recommend this LP. It is a release that belongs in any monk collection.

I remove LPs from jacket and pack the jacket and LP in a LP outer sleeve protector, pack securely in custom LP shipping box with added protection on both sides. I've been doing this a long time and it is my priority to get you your LP fast and safe.
