Up for auction is a very nice original first pressing of Thelonious Monk's Brilliant Corners with Sonny Rollins, Ernie Henry, Clark Terry, Paul Chambers, Oscar Pettiford, and Max Roach. This is Monk at his finest with an all star band, but I don't think I need to day much more about the album if you're bidding on it. These don't come up often, so don't sleep on this one!

VG vinyl with several light marks, a few long scratches/scuffs that can't be felt. Side one plays with light noise throughout and a few pops here and there but always stays below the music. Side 2 starts off a little noisy during the celeste intro of Pannonica and is the only time the noise is really distracting on this record. The rest of this side is really solid and the noise stays under the music, with it hardly noticeable on Bemsha Swing.

VG jacket, see photos. Spine is in good shape with only light splitting underneath the lamination. Top left corner is dinged, but otherwise nice condition for its age.

Record includes mofi audiophile sleeve and ships in proper cardboard mailer. Will be packed with extra cardboard and bubble wrap.
