Description

Prestige 7075, “Thelonious Monk and Sonny Rollins”, from 1956.  Original 50th-Street-label vinyl plays at VG++ with practically no background sound.  The laminated jacket is very well preserved with no bends, writing or stamps, and is basically clean with a bit of toning.  Seams are strong, and corners are square except for a small corner bump at lower right where there is about 1 cm of wear.  Songs include “Friday the Thirteenth”, “Work”, “Nutty”, “The Way You Look Tonight”, and “I Want To Be Happy”.  Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $22.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire.  Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra.  Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way.  This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides.  It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket.  Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.  All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
