Description

Vinyl Condition: Strong VG (visual); Strong VG+ (play grade; no distortion from wear, no repetitive clicks, some hiss between songs)

Jacket Condition: VG+ (spine in tact with no chipping; no splits; some chipping on top left edge)


- "First pressing" of this circa 1959, but it's really the first reissue of PRLP 7075 Thelonious Monk and Sonny Rollins; tracklist is identical on both

- NJ address on labels with deep groove on both sides and "RVG" etched in dead wax (because "RVG" is etched and not stamped, this is an indication that this pressing uses the same master metal work as original pressings)

NM (Near Mint): Like new; clean and shiny with no marks

EX (Excellent): Close to near mint; only a few minor imperfections that do not affect playback

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Light marks but nothing that can be felt with a fingernail (visual grade); no audible distortion from groove wear, no repetitive ticks (play grade)

VG (Very Good): Significant scuffing and/or marks, some that can be felt with a fingernail (visual grade); moderately loud surface noise and/or repetitive ticks may be heard in some passages, an amount of audible groove wear is possible; no skips (play grade)

VG- (Very Good Minus): Heavy scuffing and marks likely to cause significant surface noise and/or audible groove wear

G (Good): Comparable to VG- but skips
