Description
Prestige Records 1959 release called WORK!, featuring recordings headed by Thelonious Monk and Sonny Rollins. Notorious jazz engineer Rudy Van Gelder's initials are etched in the deadwax. Prestige had the original catalog number "7075" scratched out in the deadwax, with "7169" written underneath it. "7075" is Prestige Records' catalog number for the album Thelonious Monk/Sonny Rollins. WORK! is simply 7075, but with a new label and cover.
The disc is at least in VG+ condition. Marks and light surface scratches show signs that the record has been enjoyed, but there is nothing that would make a jazz fan find the record audibly unpleasant. The jacket's seams are in tact and the artwork is crisp and well-colored.
