Description

Thelonious Monk Straight, No Chaser 2014 Reissue Limited Edition #0629/3000 EX.

For auction is an excellent listeners copy of Straight, No Chaser, by Thelonious Monk. This was the sixth studio album recorded on the Columbia label by the legendary jazz pianist and composer. Released in 1967 and features songs recorded that year as well some in 1966. This copy is a 2014 Limited Edition stereo reissue numbered 0629 out of 3000. It was released by Columbia and Impex Records as a double LP set and it is pressed on 180g black vinyl.

Vinyl is play graded EX. Record 1 has a single visible surface mark across track 2 on side 1. It’s purely superficial and has no affect on playback. Plays with the faintest of background noise if any. Record 2 has no surface marks and plays with no background noise. Neither record has any skips or jumps. Sounds amazing! Please see pics.

Gatefold cover is also in EX condition. No signs of shelf wear but is no longer in shrink. Looks as good as it sounds. Please see pics.

Good luck bidding and thank you for looking!!
