THELONIOUS MONK - THE UNIQUE THELONIOUS Thelonious Monk -piano, Oscar Pettiford - bass, Art Blakey - drums - Liza (Gershwin) - Memories of You (Blake-Razaf) - Honeysuckle Rose (Waller) - Darn That Dream (Van Heusen- De Lange) - Tea for Two (Youmans-Caesar) - You Are Too Beautiful (Rodgers) - Just You, Just Me (Klages) - London Records Jazz Series LTZ-U15071 issued 1957 originally Riverside label recordings 17th March and 3rd April 1955 Sleeve VG moderate edge wear except at corners and sleeve opening. Ring wear and slight yellowing also contribute to the grading made. It is offered with a newish polythene outer sleeve and a new inner paper and polythene sleeve

Media VG both sides play without jumps or scratches. Significant crackles and pops throughout but music still listenable.
Please note that my grading and respective notes take no account of crackles or pops during run in, run out or between tracks. Also that any blemishes or scuffs showing on the media surface, which do not affect the sound,are generally ignored.
