Rare 1963 1st UK issue of this great album by Thelonious Monk.........Thelonious Himself ........Monk solo on 7 tracks and John Coltrane accompanying him on the 8th......on Riverside RLP 12-235 labels with Front Laminated Cover ........

The vinyl has light hairlines and one slightly more obvious mark of no significant audio note  ......a bit of background noise on run ins and between tracks......plays nicely all the way through with no skips , sticks or jumps  .......... terrific powerful sound from this 1963 original 1st UK  issue.....visual VG to VG+ and audio VG+ to VG++

The Front Laminated Cover is in VG condition.......heavy corner wear at bottom corners and some laminate bubbling at spine.........see pics ....

Riverside RLP 12-235 labels in lovely condition ......see pics......RLP 12=235 1Lv2 and RLP 12=235 2Lv3 Matrices ......... rare 1963 original 1st UK issue.......

Polylined Inner Sleeve with no seam splits.
