Description
This is the deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of Thelonious Monk “Quintets” on the yellow and black West 50th Street (Side A) and New Jersey (Side B) labels of Prestige PRLP 7053. The playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 50th Street cover has the famous Andy Warhol artwork (he collaborated with Red Miles for the final cover design); slight fading at the bottom of the front; lamination scratch along the bottom of the “N” on the front; normal age toning on the back slick; 2” clean break at the center of the bottom seam. Personnel include Sonny Rollins, Frank Foster, Ray Copeland, Julius Watkins, and Art Blakey. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
