Thelonious Monk "Volume 1 Genius Of Modern Music " Blue Note BLP 1510 GXK 8058(M) King Record Co. 1978 pressing Record cover has "Made in Japan" in v. small print

Disc condition - Near mint, no visible marks or scratches.
Inner sleeve - Plastic, a few creases, otherwise clean.
Insert - paper, single sheet, printed in English & Japanese (has Blue Note discography in English on one side), some age yellowing, otherwise as new.
Cover - Excellent plus, no splits or tears, very minor corner & edge rub/wear, light surface crease (6cm) top RH front cover, very light rim rubbing/marking on front & back covers, a few age/dirty spots scattered on front cover, small (2cm) scratch mark on front cover, some age yellowing & spotting on back cover.
This record is part of a collection of mainly Blues, Jazz & Soul genre records inherited from a relative. The records were all purchased in Australia approx. 25 to 30 years ago prior to this relative leaving to live overseas. The records have been in storage, untouched & unplayed, in Australia, during that time. As far as I know, the records were purchased as new releases or good condition 2nd hand recordings & only played in order to transfer them to tape.
I am unable to play all the records but will visually grade them in good daylight, listing any faults that are apparent. If I have listed a disc condition as less than near mint, I am happy to play it for you if asked & post the result on the listing.
I am working my way alphabetically (sort of) through the collection of approximately 300 records & will be listing them all over the coming months. If you think this collection may hold an artist that you are interested in I will be happy to answer any queries.
Successful bidder - Payment must be received within 5 days from end of auction or record will be relisted for sale. I will ship in padded postal envelope with extra bubble wrap around record & will not be responsible for damage or loss in the post. I will refund, minus shipping cost, if you believe the item is not as described. I will be happy to combine postage (please email for costs) if you are purchasing more than one item & will hold any item you have won until any future auction on which you are bidding finishes.
