Them  "Featuring Here Comes The Night"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Parrot PAS 71005  from 1965.    This is the stereo pressing of their first album.      It has the first cover variation with "Them" on the top left and "featuring Here Comes The Night' on the top right.    ( this was later changed to "Them" on the top right and "The original hit : Gloria" on the top left.)

This is their best album.    It has their hits "Here Comes The Night", which reached # 24 on 6/26/65 and "Mystic Eyes", which reached # 33 on 12/4/65.    It also has their original version of "Gloria", which has been covered by almost everyone in rock.      Van Morrison wrote seven on the songs on this album.

This is a 'Must Have' album.  

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG+

The cover is VG+ with no seam splits.   There is light ring wear.    There is a name written on the back cover at top right and smaller at bottom right.    The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+.    The labels have no spindle marks.      The A-side label has a name written on it in black ink.    The record comes in a London inner sleeve. 

The songs are : Here Comes The Night, Mystic Eyes, Don't Look Back, Little Girl, One Two Brown Eyes, Gloria, One More Time, If You And I Could Be As Two, I Like It Like That, I'm Gonna Dress In Black, Route 66, and Go On Home Baby.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
