Theron Hale & Daughters – – Victor V-40046: Hale’s Rag / Jolly Blacksmith
Recorded October 3, 1928 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Theron Hale (vln), Mamie Ruth Hale (mandolin), Elizabeth Hale (piano).
Theron Hale was an old time country fiddle & banjo player, and member of the Grand Ole Opry in the 1920s & 1930s.
Disc size: 10 inch / 25 cm
Condition: EE+ (VJM grading standard. See below.) There is a very light, nearly invisible scratch (approx. 3 cm) on “Hale’s Rag” which is likely not audible for the full length of the scratch.

N New; never played.
E+ Shiny, like new. May have some scuffs from removing and reinserting record in sleeve.
E No longer shiny, but exhibiting no groove wear.
E– One or two graying grooves.
V++ More than a couple graying grooves, but not quite as much graying as V+
V+ Greying in the louder passages
