Description

Thin Lizzy 7 Classic Vinyl Albums + 1 x 12” Single Phil Lynott. Plus rare CD’s

7 vinyl Albums by one of the Greatest Bands of the 1970’s Thin Lizzy, plus a 12” Single and 2 CD’s 1 Newspaper & 1 re release with bonus tracks.

01. Nightlife released in 1974 on Vertigo Records with original inner sleeve with plastic protective lining. Sleeve in Ex Condition, no creases, writing, ring wear or anything. Inner sleeve in Ex Condition not a mark on it. Vinyl in Ex Condition again not a mark on it. Includes one of the greatest love songs/break up songs ever written ‘Still In Love With You’ with guest vocal by Frankie Miller and Phil’s song to his mum, Philomena.

Track Listing Includes: Its Only Money, Still In Love With You, Philomena, She Knows and much more (as I only have 12 pictures and won’t get these listed tonight if I have to list every track if possible please look up the full track listing)

02. Fighting (import copy different picture on front cover) released on Mercury Records in USA in 1975, with printed (how to take care of your record) EMI inner sleeve. Sleeve in Ex Condition only very slight ring wear no rips or split seams, there is a small notch cut out of the bottom of the sleeve which is what they used to do in the U.K. to all import records (cut a notch out of album cover or drill a hole through a single label) it was to stop shops buying cheaper abroad and selling for full price in U.K. but there must have been a better way to do it! Inner sleeve in Ex Condition basically plain white sleeve, no rips or splits. Vinyl in Ex Condition, no marks or scratches of any kind, for a 45 year old album it’s brilliant. Includes the brilliant Suicide which has the 2nd greatest Lizzy guitar duel on record. Front has tiny sticker in the corner with number 89 on will come off easily with lighter fuel but I’ve run out at moment.

Track Listing Includes: Rosalie, For Those Who Love To Live, Suicide, Wild One, Ballad Of A Hard Man and lots more( (as with above if you can please look up track listing)

03. Jailbreak released with a gatefold sleeve with a die cut hole to see picture of the band (Drawing of the band) on Vertigo records in 1976, with original inner sleeve with plastic protective lining. Sleeve in Ex Condition a few creases along the top of the thinner side of the gatefold (single sheet of card) from where it’s been stored but no splits or ring wear. Inner sleeve in Ex Condition no rips or marks, some discolouration along the top with age but nothing important. Vinyl in Ex Condition again absolutely no marks or scratches of any kind. This was the album that kick started it all off, if you were a rock fan you had to be there (and I hope you were, they were amazing live with this line up) I still remember where I was the first time I heard ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’ I was in a band and we were rehearsing I went out to get some food from Southall Market in West London and it was on a radio somewhere absolutely brilliant! Oh and this one has the greatest guitar duel on a Lizzy Album the amazing ‘Emerald’

Track Listing Includes: Jailbreak, Romeo And The Lonely Girl, The Boys Are Back In Town, Cowboy Song, Emerald and lots more (again please look up in need to)

04. Bad Reputation released on Vertigo records in 1977 with colour printed inner sleeve. Sleeve in VG Condition it’s a black sleeve so shows the marks, there are a few light marks and a couple of creases/ring wear but hardly noticeable. What I have just noticed is some plank has used it to rest on while they have been writing and some of the imprint is on the sleeve, the good thing is you have to hold it up to the light to see it. Printed inner sleeve in Ex Condition, no creases or marks just one tiny split on the seam that’s less than an inch that can either be taped with that invisible tape that would never notice it just left I didn’t see it until I really looked. Some nice pictures of the band and despite all 4 of them looking like they were getting on well on the back cover, it was the beginning of the end for this line up on the inner sleeve the giant picture on one side just has 3 of them, no Brian Robertson ... Vinyl in Ex Condition again not a mark on it. Produced by Tony Visconti

Track Listing Includes: Soldier Of Fortune, Dancing In The Moonlight (Its Caught Me In It’s Spotlight), Killer Without A Cause, Dear Lord, Bad Reputation and lots more (please look up if need to)

05. Black Rose released on Vertigo records in 1979 with a colour printed inner sleeve and the Black Rose on the front cover drawn by Jim Fitzpatrick who did the drawing on the front of Jailbreak. Sleeve in Ex Condition no marks or ring wear still has the original shrink wrap just split to get the album out with a square in the corner missing where the price tag was. Printed inner sleeve in Ex Condition no slit seams, no rips or marks and some nice pictures. Vinyl in Ex Condition as with the others no marks or scratches of any kind and none of the albums have had any spindle wear or marks on the labels. New album, new line up Brian Robertson has gone and been replaced by Gary Moore who was a brilliant guitarist but in my opinion didn’t click with Scott Gorman like Robertson did! Produced by long time Bowie & Bolan producer Tony Visconti of Bowie and Bolan fame.

Track Listing Includes: Do Anything You Want To Do, Waiting For An Alibi, Got To Give It Up, Roisin Dubh (Black Rose) A Rock Legend and lots more (as always if needed please look up track listing)

06. Chinatown released with deluxe sleeve with raised writing on Vertigo Records in 1980 with printed inner sleeve and the first album to feature the new orange Vertigo label. Sleeve in VG Condition just a few scuffs round the corners, inner sleeve in Ex Condition no split seams, rips or creases, black and white photo and full lyrics. Vinyl in Ex Condition not a mark or scratch on it. Yet another line up Gary Moore left (Again) and Snowy White took over on Guitar.

Track Listing Includes Chinatown, Killer On The Loose, Having A Good Time, Hey You and lots more (please look up if needed)

07. The Adventures Of Thin Lizzy, The Hit Singles Collection released on Vertigo Records in 1981 with a really nice full colour picture inner sleeve. Sleeve in Ex Condition no marks scratches or ring wear, Inner Sleeve in Ex Condition no split seams or marks or rips and Vinyl in Ex Condition not a mark on it. A really good collection all killer, no filler (given the choice the only thing I would change is take off Wild One and Put on Still In Love With You (Live version off Live & Dangerous)

Track Listing Includes: Whiskey In The Jar, Jailbreak, Don’t Believe A Word, The Boys are Back In Town, Sarah and lots more (please look up if want to)

08. Killers Live released as a 12” Single on Vertigo Records in 1981 with a plain White Inner Sleeve. Sleeve in Ex Condition just a small bit of ring wear no splits or rips. Inner sleeve in Ex Condition just plain white sleeve. Vinyl in Ex Condition as with all the others no marks or scratches of any kind. 4 track live EP with the 2 tracks on side one from the classic line up with Brian Robertson and the 2 tracks on side two with Snowy White

Track Listing:

Side One: Bad Reputation/Opium Trail

Side Two: Are You Ready/Dear Miss Lonely Hearts

09. Shades Of A Blue Orphanage released as part of the remastered collection in 2010 on Decca Records with 9 Bonus Tracks. Original album Came out in 1972 with the original 3 piece line up of Phil Lynette, Eric Bell & Brian Downy. Only been played once to put on i tunes and stored for last 11 years in mint Condition

10. Thin Lizzy Free Newspaper CD given free with Daily Star I’m not sure of the year as it’s red writing and even with magnifying glass can’t read it! 7 live songs by Thin Lizzy and 8 bonus tracks by unknown bands. In card slipcase CD and cover in Ex Condition, I’ve never played it.

Thin Lizzy Tracks: The Boys are Back In Town, Dancing In The Moonlight/Whiskey In The Jar (Medley), Thunder & Lightening, Rosalie, Still In Love With You, Are You Ready?, Emerald.

A brilliant collection of Thin Lizzy Vinyl with a couple of nice CD’s and all in Ex condition

Obviously that many albums weigh quite a bit so will have to either be sent in 2 packages or sent as small parcel. I’ve just weighed them and can send them second class for £5.30 which is a lot cheaper than I thought it would be.

Items will be posted within two working days of payment being received.

Thanks for looking!
