Description
Very presentable copy of Thin Lizzy’s excellent 1973 album on Decca SKL 5170, complete with its lyric insert. Matrix numbers are 5W/3W, certainly an early if not first pressing.
Sleeve Strong VG+, light wear only. There are two internally-repaired small tears which you can’t really see from the photos.
Labels Ex+ Very clean. Light spindle traces only.
Inner VG++ Original Decca company polylined bag dated 11/74 (November 1974).
Record Visually Ex/Ex+, super shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light. Just misses out on a clear Ex+/NM grading because of some rubbing on a small 3cm section of the lead-in grooves on Side 1. Fully play-tested and sounds great, clear and powerful audio with some light crackle to be heard between tracks and in the quieter sections. But really not bad at all for a record which is 46 years old!
