Description
You are bidding on a very gently used copy of Third Man Records Single Releases Compilation Volume Two. It contains all the singles (both A-sides and B-sides) released in 2010 by Third Man Records, including artists such as The Dead Weather, Wanda Jackson, Karen Elson, Pujol, The Greenhornes, The Secret Sisters, Laura Marling, Drakkar Sauna, The Thornbills and even Conan O'Brien!
The gatefold set includes a poster with pictures of all the artists on it. If you have the 2009 and 2011 compilations, this poster will join up with the other two to create a 3-panel poster featuring Third Man singles covers and artists.
For me, Karen Elson's "The Truth is in the Dirt", Pujol's "Black Rabbit", Jack White's interview with Conan O'Brien, and Wanda Jackson's cover of Bob Dylan's "Thunder on the Mountain" are highlights and make this set truly brilliant! A great way to get a sampling of Third Man's sound without having to buy each individual 7". SAVE MONEY! :)
Only the first record has been played, and it has only been played once. I have most of these songs on other formats or the single versions themselves, so I have not played the second record at all. Both records are therefore in great new condition, and the sleeves are nice too! There is some slight scuffing on the cover of the record caused from shipping (happens a lot with Vault packages), but it is not severe enough to have damaged the cover - most of the scuffs are only visible when held under a light. I will make sure to wrap this baby up in tissue paper and ship the records and their sleeves outside of the cover, to prevent further scuffing and seam splits.
