From the Vault's 6th release: Both vinyl issues in excellent condition
-
Available only to Vault members and never sold in stores! In the coming weeks I will be parting with some rare items--check back weekly for the latest and the greatest! This auction is for all of the vinyl included in the Vault's 6th release: The Greenhornes "Boscobel Blues," and The White Stripes 7" vinyl single/picture disc. A t-shirt was in the original vault package, but is not part of this auction! This vault package is in excellent condition.
First up in this auction is the 12" 33 1/3RPM vinyl Boscobel Blues performed by The Greenhornes. The 7 tracks are: I Need Your Love, Pattern Skies, I'm Going Away, Open Your Eyes, Saying Goodbye, Shelter Of Your Arms, and I'll Go Crazy. The album cover has two lower corner dings (one slightly larger than the width of a pencil, the second less than the width of a pencil.) The sleeve has 'push through' tears in two places and a third starting to develop. The vinyl does have a surface scratch (it came this way) on side B at the end of "Saying Goodbye" and the start of "Shelter Of Your Arms." You can hear a 'click' when the needle passes over this spot, but there are no skips.
Also included in this auction is The White Stripes 7" 45RPM single/picture disc featuring "Jolene" backed with "Hello Operator." The original sleeve is in excellent condition, but I would advise the winner to buy a clear sleeve so that the pictures on the disc can be enjoyed more. The disc is in near mint condition and is one of my favorite vault items.
Once again, the t-shirt is not included as it was not in the pacakge when I purchased it.
About the Vault recordings: There is a new vault release every 3 months and they are mailed in a single box. It is very common for the 12 inch to have dented corners, for the record sleeves to be have small tears where the record has moved around too much during shipping, or very minor surface blemishes on the vinyl that do not affect play. I signed up for the vault for their 8th package and starting buying earlier vault releases (sealed) in the second half of 2011 on Ebay. I bought this vault package in late September or early October.
Shipping will be $4.00 within the US. If you win more than one of my auctions, I am happy to combine items for shipping. Payment can be made by Paypal.
