Description
This auction is for a spindle of 39 (count) vintage 78rpm glass records. Below is the complete list of every song title, artist, record label and label number. Below this list is a photograph of every label! Please review this entire auction listing carefully and to bottom of this page, check out each and every label.
This collection is from my mother-in-law who worked in a record store in the 40s. I am not a record collector, there very well could be some rare titles included in this set of (39) records. They are all here: Nat King Cole, Ink Spots, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Frankie Laine and many more!
The condition of these records is “as is”: used, dusty, some of them have some scratches, (only one has a small chip on the edge, Decca 25151). I have played some of them. I believe that they should be playable; NONE appear to be warped whatsoever. After proper cleaning I believe many of these would play reasonably well to okay, maybe even great. They all have been stored in a vertical position in the spindle rack shown.
The average weight of each record is between 7 and 8 ounces. Estimated shipping weight with packing and the spindle rack is approximately 21 pounds.
Local pickup is available.
Importantly: If you win this auction you may select the specific records from this set to be shipped to you. But the winning price of the auction will be the winning bid plus shipping. There will be no pro ration for requesting less than the full 39 records with the spindle rack. The spindle rack is only included with all 30+ of the records being requested to send.
