Description

Q4DD1 SQ demonstration of the abilities  of Quadraphonic sound on the UK EMI/Gramaphone. 1st issue from 1972. Matrix -1/-1. Stampers 1-A/1-M. The record comes housed in its original Garrod & Lofthouse 2 flipback cover and includes original lined inner sleeve and EMI card explaining the benefits of quadraphonic sound.
Vinyl (Ex+) Shiny like new and has clearly only seen very very light use. I can't see a single mark on either side even under close inspection. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across nice and clear with barely a hint of interference. The only thing i could detect the whole way through was a couple of light crackles at the start of the intro to side 2 - that really was all. So, it's certainly been looked after!
Cover (Vg+) A lovely shiny front cover and a rear which only suffers from some light ageing. Flipbacks are all nice and tight and the cover has excellent overall rigidity. The spine is entirely intact.
Inner Sleeve (Vg+) No splits, but there's a bit of creasing and ageing.
Explanation Card (Ex+) Absolutely mint condition....
