Description

This is Jamaica Ska LP -Studio One - Wailers Skatalites

Fantastic ska compilation from the golden period, there's not a bad track amongst them. And it's got a brilliant sleeve. And the vinyl's been looked after! The sleevenotes predict a bright future for the "Simmer Down" Wailers.

Anyway, the vinyl is Excellent. You're never going to get fidelity from tracks like this but it's nice to hear them without masses of surface noise.

The heavy card sleeve is VG just because it has a 3" seam split on the bottom edge. Other than that it's great.

Like many of the records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 62. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played and they were all properly looked after. His musical taste was towards the avant garde/free end of the jazz spectrum as well as being a fan of prog, psych and experimental music. I will be selling selected records from his collection over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
