With this little gem you are buying an extremely rare piece of early Thorens-SMT turntable history
This early miniature lightweight Thorens-SMT gramophone has a delightful little polished oak folding horn assembly and is really an outstanding example of the inginuety of the 1920's when bicycling and summer picnics were all the rage and smaller and smaller high quality gramophones were demanded by the public capable of playing even the largest full sized 12" 78's
The miniature turntable is still covered with its original green baize and the nickel plating is overall in really excellent condition as is the little case which has very few marks given the fact that this gramophone is around ninety years old and the motor still runs with a purr!
