Country: UK Released: 1966 Genre: Rock Style: Garage Rock This rare Icelandic record comes from my own collection and I am the original owner. In 1966-67 I was stationed at the U.S. Naval Base in Keflavik, Iceland. A band billed as the best band in Iceland came to the enlisted men's club twice while I was there and this record was bought at their 2nd appearance. Of course the band was Thor's Hammer and they were indeed the best band in Iceland and probably anywhere at the time. I will let the photos show the condition of the album cover which is probably in fair to good condition. The records themselves are in excellent condition. The photos for some reason make the records look warped, but I assure you they are perfectly flat and play without any problem. I have cleaned them with a record cleaning system and played them. They sound pretty incredible for their age. No pops or skips. The set includes the 7", 45 RPM EP with the songs "My Life" & "Better Days " on side 1. On side two are "I Don't Care" & "Big Beat Country Dance". The 7" single includes "Love Enough & "If You Knew". The 4 original photos of the band members are included and three are signed on the reverse ( see photos ). Be aware that the regular drummer was not playing that night and his photo is not signed on the back, However the musician who did play drums that evening signed on the inside cover next to the text. I have done my best to describe the condition of this item and it is being sold as is - no returns. Signature on delivery will be required. Please contact me if you have additional questions and I will do my best to answer them.
