Description
This is an original Thrillington Vinyl LP in original liner sleeve inside the original album jacket. I am the original owner. I bought this at a "Peaches Records" store in Norfolk, VA in 1988. At the time I had a Conniseur belt drive turntable with a Grace 707 tone arm and a Shure SM-7 cartridge running maybe a half a gram of disc pressure. I think I played the record five or six times. For whatever stupid reason I had scribbled a little with a blue Sharpie on the back of the album jacket by the cut listings and then at a later time tried to rub it off, so the back of the album jacket has some imperfections there, but otherwise looks great. The front jacket looks excellent. The photos in the listing are of the real item. The disc looks almost perfect. There is one small shallow surface scuff on the vinyl on one side that is about a quarter inch in size, really small. It does not impact the grooves - it probably happened by maybe Ibumping the disc against the turntable dustcover. I know the disc plays just fine because it has been sitting in a box for twenty years and I haven't played it since when I bought it. My 500+ record albums have been sitting in boxes in a closet for this entire time and I guess I am to the point where we need the room and I do not listen to them. For whoever ends up buying this, I promise I will pack this in a well padded box so that it will arrive perfectly safe. It is a pretty cool piece of Beatles history and I will make sure it gets to you safely.
