Rare US split flexi-disc - as issued with RECIPES FOR HAHDTIMES #2 FANZINE!
Record is in beautiful Near Mint condition - never played.
Fanzine is discolored from age but is otherwise near new - carefully stored since bought back in 1986.
This flexi is considered to be the Muses first release according to online sources, issued with the Great Recipes for Hard Times #2, a Boston fanzine from Oct. 1986. It’s a split, with the the Classic Ruins doing a hard hitting accoustic cover of “How Do You Know?”, a tune originally by legendary Boston garage punks, the Lyres. "Fish" is an alternate earlier version of the better known release by the Muses.
Hard to find record - I have actually never seen it for sale with the fanzine before.
I also have a copy of the fanzine WITHOUT flexi I am selling separately.
