Description

This is an unusual private press LP from Tide. Their only LP which was released in 1970 and titled “Almost Alive”, released on Mouth Music Records 7237S. Lawrence, Kansas release with with eight songs. Songs vary and are all over the musical gamut. Heavy electric blues with harmonica, jazzy selections with outstanding flute parts and country sounding Southern rock offerings. All in all, fairly impressive.

Vinyl grades VG+. Has light scratches (mostly sleeve scratches). Cover has light shelf wear around white colored front and back cover. Minor discoloration on the front and back cover in a few areas, and a light crease in the lower left hand corner. Cover grades VG+. An unusual private pressing which is not seen often.

Please check out my other auctions! I have Allan Clair Green - rare private pressing LP "most of all" and clean copies of the Flying Burrito Brothers "Burrito Deluxe" and "Gilded Palace of Sin," Gene Clark's "White Light," and others, all very nice first pressings, currently listed. Shipping is $4 media mail in the U.S., $13 worldwide. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding! NO RESERVE!
