Description

An original UK Stereo 1st press from autumn 1967. Matrix A2/B2. the heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original <Stereo> fully laminated cover with pinched spine. We also have the original lyric inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In really superb condition and has only seen light careful use. A couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome at all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one minor deviation. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with near perfect clarity. I don't imagine that's an easy find. This sort of audio is top of the line fussy - fully acoustic. MOST copies are not going to play clean. Finding one that truly delivers a clean rendition - pretty much throughout..is going to be a hard find. All I could detect across both sides was a few minor crackles in one very brief spot [per side], and a couple of slight isolated ticks in 'Knight Errant'. 99% marvellous and I think it would be a pretty hard find just equalling this copy for audio quality. Love it. The presence and vibrancy in the audio is very addictive. Never heard one play like this before. Very highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and the lamination has done a great job of preserving the aesthetic. Lovely shiny and flat both sides with just a couple of minor thumbnails. Just a touch of edge wear along that bottom edge [minimal]. Firm openings and spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Tanned and a little creased. But no splits or defacing.
