THE COMPLETE BLUE NOTE RECORDINGS OF THE TINA BROOKS QUINTETS, Mosaic MR4-106, 4 LP's on box with booklet, #0983 of an edition limited to 7500.
This magnificent collection from Mosaic contains 22 tracks recorded 1958-1961. The musicians are Tina Brooks (tenor sax), Lee Morgan, Blue Mitchell, Freddie Hubbard, Johnny Coles (trumpet), Jackie McLean (alto sax), Sonny Clark, Kenny Drew, Duke Jordan (piano), Doug Watkins, Paul Chambers, Sam Jones, Wilbur Ware (bass), Art Blakey, Art Taylor, Philly Joe Jones (drums).
The tunes are Nutville, The Way You Look Tonight, Star Eyes, Minor Move, Everything Happens To Me, Good Old Soul, Up Tight's Creek, Theme For Doris, True Blue, Miss Hazel, Nothing Ever Changes My Love For You, Back To the Tracks, Street Singer, The Blues and I, For Heavem's Sake, The Ruby and the Pearl, David the King, Stranger In Paradise, The Waiting Game, Talkin' About, One For Myrtle, Dhyana.
15 tracks issued for the first time on this set.
Condition of records is E, no scuffs, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Box is very clean - no ring wear, no seam splits, all corners are intact. Booklet is like new. "Received 4/28/86" handwritten inside booklet front cover.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.

Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on Fridays and Mondays will be shipped on the next shipping day.;
