Description

Tina Brooks
"True Blue"
Music Matters, 2x 180gram vinyl, 45 rpm speed
Mastered by Steve Hoffman, Kevin Grey from the original master tapes
Limited edition number 722
 Out of print!

Up for sale is Tina Brooks True Blue. Pressed on heavy weight vinyl, records play back at 45 rpm for maximum fidelity. This is one of the greatest Blue Note albums with original pressings selling for $3000-4000 and this MM pressing sounds better. Mastered by Steve Hoffman who is known for his "breath of life" sound quality, the band sounds like they are playing in the room.

As usual high quality thick gatefold cover from Music Matters with nice Francis Wolff photographs on the inner gatefold.

Condition:

Jacket and records NM and play back very quiet, listened to on Stax SR-009 headphones. Only played twice on a high end Nottingham turntable.

Includes original outer sleeve with Music Matters sticker and Steve Hoffman/Kevin Gray signatures.
