Description
Tina Louise
"It's Time For Tina"
Condition: VG disc/VG cover
Label: Concert Hall 1521
Additional info: Clean vocal LP, mainly plays great. A few visual imperfections separate it from VG+. Very clean cover with no splits, only flaws noted are original owner's blue number 35 top left (removable) and slight paper dimpling above right -- see pictures -- Back of cover is white with no foxing or writing. Just cannot believe it's nearly 60 years old - Skipper! Oh Gilligan!
TV television's Gilligan's Island.
The following is my answer to a question received this morning, Thursday, August 21, 2016. I hope it helps prospective and current Bidders! I am also now adding the two pics I referred to in the below info.
Good Morning and thank you for your inquiry. I realize it's difficult to truly judge visual and listening condition without actually having your own eyes and ears to it in person, but I will do my best to share the true condition facts. The record does play completely free of any audible disruptions to listening enjoyment, with the only exception noted as a single "milli pop" during song 2 on Side 2 (as I recall and without replaying it in its as recovered uncleaned condition). I feel the one "milli pop" may be cured with cleaning but cannot guarantee it. I have an older Marantz amp, older European Sansui speakers with up facing horns and 10" woofers and a good quality older Shure cartridge and I truly enjoyed the warmth and quality of this recording while listening to both sides one time. I cannot say it is visually or audibly identical to mint unopened, but it is certainly an acceptable, enjoyable listening copy by any standards for a nearly 60 year old recording. I am including additional pics trying to show the visual flaws as best as possible in their worst light since you cannot be here. Any "scratch" you see seems to be on top of the vinyl and did not make it jump or skip during my playing the test listening (unless it was that one "milli pop"). I hope this helps, and please do not hesitate to ask for any further clarification or details. Again, I truly enjoyed listening to it with a smile!

Good Morning,
Thank you for your kind note. I recovered this Tina Louise It s Time For Tina 1957 recording from an estate sale in a upscale North County area of San Diego known as Rancho Bernardo. The sale was professionally conducted on behalf of the family trust following the death of the home owner. I believe the owner/gentleman had reached his early 90 s. His small record collection totaled approximately 75-100 albums; Tina was very unique so I purchased it. The sale took place about 3 weeks ago; the home was very upscale and was smoke free and pet free. If I can provide any further details please don t hesitate to contact me.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Dan
