1971 Italian Hallelujah ISP34137

Sleeve: VG+
Record: VG+

First album from the highly rated Swiss hard rock band.  This is the rare original Italian pressing from 1971.

The unipak gatefold sleeve is generally in decent condition.  Both front and back are clean, no tears, no writing, one small crease to the bottom right corner of the front.  Inside the gatefold is clean and undamaged.  The edges of the sleeve are where the problems are, there’s wear to both top and bottom seams, though when placed in a PVC sleeve (which I’ll supply) this doesn’t actually look too bad.  There’s also wear to the spine which is a little more serious (you can still just about make out the writing on the spine though).

The record itself is in similar sort of condition to the sleeve really.  It’s generally in nice condition and plays fine, the only thing that lets it down is that there are a few light marks visible, especially when held under a very harsh lamp.  By light marks I do really mean LIGHT marks, just hairlines, nothing heavy which cuts through the grooves or can be felt with your fingertips and nothing that causes any audible defects.  When played it sounds great with the wailing guitars leaping out of the speakers, the sound throughout is clean and clear and there’s no surface noise to spoil your enjoyment.

All in all this is a good playable copy of a rare LP.
