Original US pressing (1989)
Includes original custom paper inner sleeve with photos and credits, in excellent condition.
Lineup includes longtime colleague Mike Campbell on guitars, bass and keyboards.
Petty is joined by a wealth of guest talents here:
George Harrison plays guitar and sings on "I Won't Back Down".
Roy Orbison sings on "Zombie Zoo".
The legendary Jim Keltner plays various percussion instruments.
Co-produced by Jeff Lynne, founder of Electric Light Orchestra and later fellow member of the infamous Traveling Wilburys. Lynne also plays guitars, bass and keyboards on this record.
Features smash hits "Free Fallin'", "I Won't Back Down" and "Running' Down A Dream" ... as well as a wonderful cover of Gene Clark's classic song "Feel A Whole Lot Better".
Matrix numbers in the dead wax read:
Side 1: MCA-8770-FDS-2 Future Disc
Side 2: MCA-8771-FDS-2
Vinyl: Near Mint
Superb sound on this well recorded album.
The wax plays just a wee bit shy of "like new", with only faint traces of surface noise ("crackle") audible between some tracks and during a few quiet passages.
A few light superficial surface marks are visible but have no discernible impact on sound quality.
Exceptionally high gloss remains.
Labels are essentially flawless, look like new.
Jacket: Near Mint
Jacket is nearly flawless, with only the slightest traces of rub wear on corners.
The front and back photos and text are bright and clear. Exceptional gloss remains.
The spine is nearly perfect. No splits. Spine print is crystal clear.

My Profile / Policies:
Note: I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Music is my passion. I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll. Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.
All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.
All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.
As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.
All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.
Payment expected within 3 business days of auction closing.
