You are bidding on a new sealed vinyl LP record. This is the rare, out-of-print, original issue from 1982 on the Backstreet Record label. Still in the original factory seal complete with hype sticker.
This is from the height of Petty's popularity and fame. It's also the year I graduated high school. I picked it up during a cutout bin binge some time during college and somehow never opened it. Then subsequently, I accidentally bought another copy. This has happened before - much to my wife's chagrin - as I have a couple thousand LPs.
Tom Petty 1950-2017 RIP. Since his untimely passing earlier this month, Tom Petty albums have soared in value, so don't miss this opportunity to own a classic.

Don't be dissuaded by the low starting bid and NO RESERVE. I just tend to have better success with those auctions. It's worth the risk to me versus getting phony bids from folks who aren't serious.
